A key component of progressive metal is the ability to transcend metal and musical genres. With Imperium's influences coming from all ends of the rock and metal genres, they often pay homage to these bands by playing the occasional cover at live shows. Here is a video of Imperium covering Iron Maiden - The Trooper taken from the Casbah Lounge in Hamitlon, Ontario back in January 2013. I love modern day metal covers of old school metal songs!
